QUESTIONS

Here are answers to some of the questions we’re asked most frequently. If there is anything not covered below, simply give us a call, send us an email, or leave us a message and we’ll be happy to address all your questions and concerns!

Oaklawn only provides a beautifully majestic outside venue for its guests. The house is not available except if interested in using our bridal suite.

Oaklawn only provides access to our beautiful outdoor space unless otherwise discussed. All event related services are to be contracted by vendors by the guest party or their event planner. Please feel free to ask for assistance in finding any vendor you may need to service your special day.

We can accommodate anywhere from 2 people for photo shoots to a 300 person wedding depending on your needs/event.

A 50% non refundable payment is due when our contract is executed.

Cash, check, crypto, all major credit cards with a 4% processing fee for processing credit cards.

Renter shall pay Oaklawn a non-refundable deposit equal one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) to hold the date (the initial deposit). Renter shall pay Oaklawn a fifty percent (50%) less the initial deposit of the rental fee upon the execution of this agreement and no later than one hundred twenty (120) days before the event date.

Renter may cancel the event by notifying Oaklawn in writing no later than ninety (90) days prior to the event date. In such an event, oaklawn shall retain the non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%). Should the event have be canceled within less than ninety (90) days from the event date, Oaklawn shall have the right to retain all amounts then paid by renter

Given the chance of inclement weather we highly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance but a tent rental to accommodate your guests and needs could also work.  We would also try our best to reschedule or work with you to try and find a solution.

We do love our animals here at Oaklawn but due to liability issues we can only allow for service animals (excluding emotional support).  Please feel free to discuss this with us.

Unfortunately no. The event space is all outdoors and mostly situated on lush cut grass.

We have 2 areas of entertainment that have potable running water. (no hot water)

Yes, the main area of entertainment has a 200 amp service with many outlets to plug into 110v/220v/230v/ for any catering equipment, lighting, DJ, sound.

For now Oaklawn does not offer any full service catering.  We ask that your wedding planner or wedding party procure your favorite chef.  Alcohol is strictly BYOB usually handled with the caterer who will also provide a temporary liquor license/permit for your event.  21+

No. We recommend renting executive trailered restrooms to be delivered to the event.  These restrooms are very clean, roomy and have lights, mirrors with hot and cold running water.

Currently we are not offering the barn as part of any package we do have plans for the future (stay tuned). It is completely fine to take photos of the barn and surrounding areas.

We do offer 2 rooms and a full bathroom for the bridal party to get ready. $250/hr or $1200/day
